HOWARD COLLEGE/ WESTVILLE/ PIETERMARITZBURGThe incumbent for each of the discipline posts, who will be a permanent serving member of academicstaff in the School of Management, IT & Governance, will provide academic leadership in scholarship,teaching, research and community engagement for their respective group of academics within theschool, including management of the performance of academics within the group. S/he will also beresponsible for the administrative processes relating to the portfolio as set out in the respective jobdescription. The incumbent will report to the Dean and Head of School.The incumbent in the post of Teaching and Learning, who will be a permanent serving member ofacademic staff in the School of Management, IT & Governance, will provide academic leadership inall aspects of teaching and learning within the school. S/he will also be responsible for the administrativeprocesses relating to the portfolio as set out in the respective job description.

Doctoral degree at the level of Senior Lecturer or abovePerforming at or above the norm of expectation at the level of appointment
