Job PurposeTo provide actuarial solutions to internal and external clients within the insurance industry; in line with Nedbanks Client Value Proposition. The Nedbank Insurance Corporate Actuarial team provides the business with a range of services, offering new team members the opportunity to gain experience learning a broad range of skills. The key focus of this role is financial reporting for the Short-Term license and technical assistance on Reinsurance.Job ResponsibilitiesMonthly IFRS valuation for the Short-Term license.Quartely and annul SAM valuation for the Short-Term license.Economic capital calculations for the Short-Term license.Experience investigations, including UPR and IBNR calibration, for the Short-Term license.Technical assistance on Reinsurance, including assistance on reinsurance tenders and treate performance monitoring. Across both the Short and Long Term licenses.In carrying out these responsibilities, team members will interact with the Nedbank Insurance Finance and Client Solutions Teams.

Education

Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Experience

2 - 4 years in the Actuarial field.We are looking for an actuarial student with a passion for learning and solving problems that is looking to grow their knowledge and experience in the short-term actuarial area.
