Job Description

FIXED TERM CONTRACT (14 October 2019 to 14 April 2020)The incumbent of this post is responsible for providing administrative support to all stakeholderswithin the discipline in her/his portfolio. This includes coordinating the administrative functions ofa large medical staffing establishment in relation to financial administration, staffingadministration, and research administration, administration of academic, undergraduate andpostgraduate training programmes. The incumbent is not a research assistant and as suchshould not be involved in data capturing/field work, etc but can assist / direct the researcherwith respect to University policies and procedures. The successful incumbent to this position musthave strong organisation skills, be able to frequently use their own initiative, and have goodinterpersonal and communication skills.

Matric AND a One-year relevant qualification

Experience

Three years relevant work experience in a similar working environmentProven knowledge of discipline/academic administration within a tertiary education
