Job Description

The incumbent will be required provide the requisite administrative and supportservices to the University Council, Senate and their respective committees. Thisservice includes the preparation of agendas, attendance at and recording ofproceedings at meetings, writing of accurate minutes and reports and relatedfollow-up and correspondence. An excellent command of the English languageis a pre-requisite, as are appropriate word-processing and spreadsheet expertise,and the ability to engage with and become proficient in terms of new softwareapplications. Committee officers are at times required to work afterhours and overweekends. The ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines will be demanded

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Matric/National Senior CertificateBachelors (NQF Level 7) degree in Administration or Office Management

Experience

Two (2) years of experience as a Committee OfficerPossession of a valid drivers licence
