Job DescriptionLooking for an areas sales manager to service automotive, mining and manufacturing industries. SALES RESPONSIBILITIES: • The following responsibilities form part of your role within the company: • Develop sales strategies and achieve monthly sales targets • Achieve weekly client visit targets (10-15) • Prepare, organize and give presentations using appropriate tools and techniques in both oral and verbal format • Compile quarterly sales presentations • Manage and develop new and existing clients and markets forming part of your portfolio • Keep up to date with products development and competitors • Collect customer feedback and market research • Assist in compiling professional presentations • Update your CRM daily • Manage and coordinate all orders and projects • Prepare professional quotations • Prepare detailed drawing and quotation briefs • Prepare detailed monthly expense sheets • Prepare weekly reports • Source products OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES: • Attend Installation meetings • Attend client and site meetings • Attend production meetings at factory and liaise with factory • Attend performance reviews • Attend product training • Compile detailed Installation briefs • Ensure safety standards are adhered to • Sign off quality inspections of all projects • Carefully manage all expenses and travel costs • Utilize business tools effectively • Ensure mobility at all times • Follow company policy regarding manufacturing and installation lead times • Develop strong ties with colleagues • Manage `start to finish` process of each project that forms part of your portfolio • Manage sales support team • Work closely with project management team and sub-contractors Inherent Requirements: The following skills are essential to be in this position: • Previous sales exposure in SA and Africa • Able to read architects drawings • Passion for sales/trading • Excellent sales, negotiation and problem solving skills •
