Job Description

Sasolburg Operations (SO) is an integrated facility that includes the Sasol One, Sasol Midland and Sasol Bunsen sites responsible for the production of base and performance chemicals. We also produce electricity and other utilities and provide site support services to enable the manufacturing process on all sites.ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Process Artisan will operate process equipment, systems and processes at Solidification 2200 to achieve production requirements in a safe manner.FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTSTECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONALParticipates in shift handover meetings Provides adequate feedback to supervisor on work progress Participates in risk assessments according to legislation and company requirements to improve safety Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to waste disposal procedures Work Independently Understand and know the business, drives and KPIs SHE Apply and maintain safety in a working environmentMANAGEMENTParticipates in shift handover meetings Provides adequate feedback to supervisor on work progress Participates in risk assessments according to legislation and company requirements to improve safety Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to waste disposal procedures Work Independently Understand and know the business, drives and KPIs

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Senior Certificate / Full N3 Certificate with English, Maths and Physical Science (must)Chemical Operations NQF Level 4 Certificate (must)

Experience

Min 1 year experience in the Production environment (must)
