“Asenze Research Project Driver”Asenze Research ProjectAsenze Research Project is located in the Centre for Rural Health within the School ofNursing and Public Health at the University of KwaZulu-Natal with partners includingthe University of Columbia and National Institutes of Health (NIH). This study will focuson interrelationships between the development of risky behaviours (drug and alcoholmisuse and unprotected sex) and the development of executive function in thecontext of early and ongoing adversity, and the role of family support. The focus willbe on these interrelationships with a view to identifying both early and concurrentdeterminants of adolescent risk and resilience that will contribute to the developmentof effective preventive and supportive interventions.The Research Project Driver will be responsible for driving duties and activities of theAsenze Research Project in 5 districts within the Valley of 1000 Hills, KwaZulu-Natal.
