Job Description

Brief Description:A large listed Property Investment House, is adding to their growing team. We are recruiting for an Asset Manager, with a steady portfolio in the Retail, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Job Description:Requirements:Appropriate degree or similar qualification in Property Management and /or financial management. Shopping Centre Management certification would be an added advantageMinimum 5 years within property Management with a minimum of 3 years managerial experience in the Office and Retail property sectors.Knowledge of the full spectrum of property & asset managementAfrica Retail or Property experience (Advantageous)Marketing, administrative and technical components of properties.Sound knowledge of the business environment, the relevant role players within theBusiness and their key responsibilities and outcomes i.e. market indicators.Policies and procedures.Legislation: knowledge and compliance to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and related property legislation.Asset management and Financial accounting principles.Knowledge of leasing and lease agreements.Property and property contract related legislation

Responsibilities + Skills

Conduct analysis of individual property performance.Identify & manage property related investment and operational risks.

Education

Assisting with strategic management and growth of assets principally through asset optimisation, including leasing strategy, asset positioning, asset condition including possible re-developments, cashflow and arrears management.
