Job Description

The School of Applied Human Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduatecourses in core and specialized areas in general and professional psychology, socialwork, criminology and media studies. The School also has a number of specializedresearch projects. The person appointed to the advertised post will assist withcoordination and teaching of theory and practice modules in Social Work at bothundergraduate and postgraduate levels. S/he will also be expected to contributeto other programmes and activities offered in the School. The appointee shouldhave an interest in research, and will be expected to be actively engaged inresearch and publication, and to supervise postgraduate research at appropriatelevels.

Education

A doctoral qualification in Social Work;Evidence of peer-reviewed publications commensurate to the level ofProfessor;

Experience

At least seven years post-PhD research and/or teaching experience in SocialWork at university level;
