Job Purpose
To provide specific insights into all the functions of the Nedbank Group in order to enable informed decision making at all levels.
Job Responsibilities

Proven track record of solving complex business problems through data analysis

Data exploration and mining from various type of sources

Presenting information through reports and visualization

Crafting and executing ad-hoc queries upon request for data

Interpret business data requirements

Proficient in Data Modelling

Good understanding of how Data Warehouse/Data Mart/Data Lakes operates

Interview end users to determine requirements for data, reports, analysis, metadata, training, service levels, data quality and/or performance

Translate requirements into technical specifications

Help identify and assess potential data sources

Recommend appropriate scope of requirements and priorities

Validate that landscape and solution meets requirements and service level agreements

Responsibilities + Skills

Min 5 years experience in Data AnalysisAGILE behaviourProven track record of solving business problems using visualisationsProficient Knowledge of SQL queries (SQL Server, Netezza, DashDB


Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior CertificateIT Bachelors Degree


In-depth understanding of database management systemsWorking knowledge of OLAP, ETL & Tabular modelling (SSIS, SSAS, Ab Initio, Denodo)Power BI & MicroStrategy Visualisation skillsDevops, Confluence and Jira
