Job Description

Purpose:To assist the Operations Manager by taking delegated responsibility for all maintenance related workKey responsibilities include the following:• Implementing and monitoring of the maintenance budget• Give input and recommend on the utilization of resources available in the best possible manner including the cost effective procurement of related services• Ensure quotations and invoices are submitted to the finance department• Establish effective communication channels in collaboration with internal clients and external Service Providers so as to develop cooperation and teamwork• Responsible for the identification and development of positive working relationships with internal and external customers built on trust, ethical conduct, quality and integrity• Guests/residents requests attended to timeously and professionally• Responsible for the monitoring and adherence by Service Providers to the terms and conditions and the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) of the various contracts

Responsibilities + Skills

Ensure all boreholes are in working order Daily inspection of Sewage System Weekly back-wash and filtration systems inspections Weekly tests of fences and alarms Attend to specialized maintenance requests

Education

Weekly units/rooms Inspections Attend to all building infrastructure faults Daily water reticulations inspections

Experience

N6 Electrical Qualification Trade Test will be advantageous Valid drivers license At least 5 years experience in general building maintenance 3-5 years electrical maintenance experience
