Job DescriptionOur client in the ICT sector is looking for a Prepaid FTTH Business Manager to achieve the client’s brand, distribution, customer base, churn, customer satisfaction, revenue and profitability, targets in the prepaid FTTH segment. The role reports directly into the Managing Director and is based in Johannesburg. Key skills and experience: • Develop and implement sales and distribution plans including competitor analysis to target customers in the service areas of the respective FNOs. • Develop commissions policies and implement and measure against plan once approved. • Appoint and performance manage agents who will drive customer acquisition. • Measure and report on performance of the channel against budget. • Meet the required sales targets per reporting period. • Develop sales plans to ensure that business plan targets are achieved. • Develop innovative models to target and reach new customers. • Develop trade marketing plan and marketing budget for the segment. • Perform market and competitor analysis. • Generate the company’s brand demand for prepaid services as measured through brand metrics. • Manage and report on marketing opex budget for the segment. • Develop monthly promotions to drive demand and grow sales. • Drive innovation in products and services to the target segment. • Ensure that customer experience for the segment is always optimised. • Ensure that all agreements and processes with partner FNOs are developed and implemented. • Manage the relationships with partner FNO’s on a regular basis to ensure that the company is abreast of all developments in this segment. • Ensure that all associated agreements and internal processes are in place to satisfy the FNO requirements internally.
Responsibilities + Skills
derstanding of consumer buying behaviour in informal markets. Strong track record with reputable brands in delivering on revenue and profitability targets within informal markets. Industry experience within FMCG, Mobile Telecoms, Distribution, Retailers/ Wholesalers in the informal segment or Financial Institutions (informal markets only).
BCom Marketing or related qualification Minimum 5 years experience in sales/trade marketing in traditional township communities in South Africa. In depth understanding of consumer buying behaviour in informal markets.
