Manage Self: ProfessionalJob PurposeTo advise the business area on relevant domestic and international legislation, specifically legislation pertaining to Nedbank’s Rest of Africa representative offices;To monitor compliance and governance regulations, policies, codes and rules to ensure adherence to compliance obligations;To provide general regulatory compliance support to team members managing Compliance risk within the Investment Banking, Property Finance and Markets team.To provide support to the Head of IB, PF and Markets on internal and external reporting obligationsJob ResponsibilitiesProvide advice and oversight to the Kenya, Angola and Ghana rep offices on compliance related issues.Advise business on best practice for compliance by ensuring the business is educated on the compliance culture and by creating awareness around compliance implication of daily duties.Ensure compliance standards are met and risks are mitigated.Identify, define and agree on the regulatory universe applicable for each subsidiary.
