Job Description

Job PurposeTo provide support to Nedbank’s Group-wide Compliance function by being the primary source of training on the Compliance Risk Management, providing tools and support for the delivery of compliance risk management training and compliance officer skills development, and enabling the professionalisation of Regulatory Compliance Management as a career stream in Nedbank.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the Compliance Academy for Nedbank Limited including offerings to prepare compliance practitioners to become the Compliance Officer-of-the-futureDevelop, maintain and execute on annual Compliance Methodology Training.Drives group-wide compliance related training.Drive and manage the compliance professionalisation programme, through career guidance, professionalisation career path support including the:1)Development of graduate learners2)Professionalisation of Compliance PersonnelAct as the custodian of internal and external compliance officer training offerings.Source and drive implementation of new innovative and virtual training methods.Liaison with internal and external training providers (includes CISA, Khulisane, Nedbank Risk Business School)Influence the development of professional standards at industry level

Advanced Diplomas/National 1st DegreesPreferred QualificationBachelor of Commerce, LLB or equivalent degreeCompliance Institute of South Africa - C Prac. Designation.
