Job DescriptionJOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications: Qualified Artisan Qualified Electrician / higher national diploma N3 / Grade 12 Minimum Experience: Min 4-5 years’ experience in maintenance of production of equipment 3 years’ experience in crane fault finding and repairs Key Tasks: Repairs to cranes, AC drives, DC drives, electrical and mechanical installation motors, panels, cables, joints, basic instrumentation equipment Fault finding and repairs on cranes Mechanical and electrical repairs to compressors, presses, mills etc. Do all legal registers assigned to according to OHSA e.g.: - 3 monthly inspections on cranes Ensure all panels / machines are fitted with laminated updated drawings Ensure all changes and repairs are mechanically and electrically designed properly and in accordance with SANS 10142 Follow the SA standards SANS 10142 Ensure all electrical equipment are legally compliant Ensure that all preventative maintenance schedules given to you are correctly completed on time. Setup new schedules for new existing equipment in the plant (cranes and lifting equipment) Ensure all electrical / mechanical equipment is always used safely and in safe condition Adhere to safety and housekeeping as per company and OHSA requirements Adhere to all statutory HSE and housekeeping / 5S requirements / rules and regulations Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times Minimum Skills/Abilities: Technical skills Reasoning ability Able to work in a team Able to work shift hours Computer literate
