Job DescriptionJob description • Maintain relationship with current blue-chip Key Accounts in specific areas. • Grow new and existing customer base in line with company strategies. • Manage allocated area and customers, include record keeping of customers activities. • Weekly reporting on customers & sales activities to management. • All admin related to sales function, invoicing, back orders report, quotations, pro-forma invoices etc. in collaboration with internal sales team • Assist where necessary with branch activities i.e. stock takes, branch admin, back up for branch staff. Qualifications • Minimum Matric • Computer literate. Experience • Proven sales track record in the flexible plastic industry market segments. Requirements • Self Driven and motivated. • Team player with good communication skill. • Honest • Stable employment history. • Have knowledge of the Gauteng area as well as surroundings • 5 + 7 years’ experience in external sales in flexible plastics industry (Plastics) • Knowledge of extrusion process/industry • Fluent in English. Afrikaans and or Zulu would be an added advantage • Ability to work unsupervised with high work ethics • Ability to source business from cold calling to concluding the sale independently • Able to travel in and around Gauteng province as well as, at times, outside the Gauteng Province • Able to work with diverse sales, production & technical teams • Strong self - management capability and a strong team player to achieve team objectives • Well established sales rep – self starter to hit the ground running Personal traits required • Passionate • Tech Savvy • Relationship driven • Goal oriented • Creative • Empathetic • Accountable • Well prepared • Highly engaged • Upbeat
