A leading financial services group have a great job opportunity for a Finance Specialist to join their team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for the preparation of billing invoices for submissions to customers of various types of government contracts, accounts receivable collections and analysis, and financial reconciliations.Your key job responsibilities as the Finance Specialist in Cape Town will include:Prepare and review monthly invoices according to company guidelines utilizing financial reports to ensure compliance with deliverable deadlinesSubmit invoices to various Government and non-Government customer based on delivery method stipulated on contract; including 3rd party systemsAnalyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard reports, research and resolve a variety of internal and external customer inquiries concerning billing statusInitiate communications with internal customers to resolve billing discrepancies and collection issuesPreparation of billing invoices for submissions to customers of various types of government contracts, accounts receivable collections and analysis, and financial reconciliations

Education
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
