Job DescriptionManage all resources within the Finance and Information Technology Departments ensuring short- and long-term viability of the company by meeting shareholder and company objectives, targets and subsequent results. Supervision & coaching of the Finance and IT department which consisted of 3 direct reporting and 10 indirectly reporting. Finance Accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the Company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, and the on-going development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve Company assets and report accurate financial results. Principle areas of accountability are: Executive Management Serve as a member of the executive team Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans and targets. Meet the annual Holding Company objectives and requirements Form a close working relationship with the Managing Director, other Senior Executives and Non Executives. Provide leadership to the Board’s Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position. Financial Accounting and Controls Oversee Financial Accounting Dept. to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures. Final point of escalation for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable issues. Management of all month-end closing activities including control account reconciliation
Responsibilities + Skills
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions Ensure appropriate legal review of contracts and solicit external legal advice as required Monitor all open legal issues involving the Company.

Ensure the financial management reporting processes are in place to support the on-going and future needs of the business Management of costing department and systems Ensure accuracy of returns Management of Government Grant Incentives
