Job Details Risk Management: understanding all risks – from the economic to the political – that could affect our global business, and offering guidance to all parts of the bankJob PurposeResponsible for development and coordination of risk management programmes.Analyses risk to determine the qualitative and quantitative risk exposures by means of qualitative impact studies and quantitative risk modelling.Measure the risk exposures to determine the effectiveness of risk mitigating techniques.Responsible for establishing a risk management framework which includes the risk management strategy, structure, processes, culture and technological architecture.Responsible for recommendations for proactive risk management decisions on losses, risk exposures and risk financing techniques.Responsible to provide the input for top management to determine the risk appetite and to calculate capital for risk.Responsible to implement risk management techniques such as risk and control self-assessments, incident management, key risk indicators and scenario analysis.Responsible for risk reporting to top management, public disclosure and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities + Skills
Manage operational budgets within assigned mandates. Sign off capital expenditure within defined limits.
Build and maintain credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including management, internal and external audit, non-executives, regulator as well as peers in local and international banks.
