The successful applicant would be expected to retain a commitment to teaching and research, implied in part by providing academic and intellectual vision and leadership to the School, alongside the considerable administrative and staff management workload associated with the position. He/she should have a demonstrable track-record of academic and strategic leadership,
Requirements include: a PhD, existing appointment at Associate Professor / full Professor level, good interpersonal and management skills, and a strong record of teaching and research in any discipline concerned with understanding and promoting individual and community development.
The faculty accepts, however, that there may be candidates wishing to negotiate appointment for a lesser period, recognizing that the minimum appointment period would be for 3 years.Remuneration: Commensurate with the applicants qualifications, experience and seniority of the post and will be negotiated on an individual basis.
