Job PurposeTo manage and direct a team in the delivery of Documentary Trade products and services to market. Provides clients with tailored solutions to mitigate risks related to Global Trade transactions and optimise working capital management.Job ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert, with a good understanding of Documentary Trade, Guarantees, Trade Finance and/or Supply chain products and services.Develop a unique and compelling value proposition, product strategy and roadmap for Trade products and solutions.Drive execution against strategic product plans.Management and coordination of activities relating to the rollout of new products, product enhancements and compliance initiatives.Research and analysis of local and international market trends within the Global Trade industry.Proactively identify new business opportunities and develop business cases to support strategic initiatives.Manage performance of direct reports and hold them accountable for managing the performance of their direct reports.Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI.Manage risk by providing input to policy and procedure formulation, issuing guidelines, participating in interpretation of legislation and proactively managing changes.Experience working with agile delivery teams, defining scope and prioritising business requirementsExperience working on large, complex initiatives.Collaborate and develop synergies with stakeholders across the value chain to meet client and business needsManagement of activities related to product onboarding, marketing collateral, pricing, product fulfilment and servicing.Ensure service delivery is in line with agreed SLA’s.
