Our client is a 4* Lodge situated on a wine estate, consisting of 39-bedrooms, a restaurant seating up to ±50-pax and 3 small function/ conference venues for up to 50 guests.This client is searching for a Housekeeping Manager who will be responsible for the overall cleanliness & standards of the rooms and public area. The right candidate will plan, organize & execute assigned tasks and ensure that all company procedures, and specifications are adhered to.DUTIES:Ensure all Housekeeping staff is complying with the standards.Responsible for the general cleanliness of the assigned of the areas, including Office, Reception, Pool bathrooms and Function Room bathrooms.Responsible to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and procedures within the Housekeeping Department.Ensure that all paperwork assigned to this position is completed and submitted in a timely manner to the Revenue Manager.Responsible for all Housekeeping equipment.Responsible for all operational related training for all team members and make sure staff comply this training in the workplace.Responsible for the implementation of cleaning schedules for all areas and follow-up.Perform other duties as directed by the General Manger.Contribute to management meetings with required and communicate fully with the management team.Receive the Daily Summary from reception before 08:00.Allocate rooms to Housekeepers.Ensure the neatness of the Linen and Laundry Room.
