ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOBSasol Mining operates six coal mines that supply feedstock for our Southern African integrated value chain. The coal supplied to Secunda Synfuels Operations (SSO) is mainly used as gasification feedstock and some is used to generate electricity. The coal supplied to Sasolburg Operations (SO) is used to generate electricity and steam. We also export coal from the Twistdraai Export Plant to international power generation customers via the Richards Bay Coal Terminal.This role is responsible for assisting in the implementation of people processes; supporting HR processes, practices and systems to achieve enhanced effectiveness and efficiency; and proactively supporting and educating employees and line management on HR processes.Functional OutputsHR Analytics.Uses HR technology and systems to extract relevant HR data.Compiles and presents meaningful HR reports through interpretation, comparisons and trend analyses.Ensures data integrity of HR system.Accurate, on time and reliable calculations and reports.Relevant analytics facilitating effective decision making based on empirical information and accurate data.Controls and monitors the staff establishmentControls and manages OD data base in line with OD principlesResponsible to ensure OD principles are followedMonthly recons between Finance headcount and HR headcountCompiles people metrics and score cardCompiles report and presentation for ExcoFollow up and consolidate various information from HRBPs/HRCsExtracts and captures information on the ER system.Act as gatekeeper of compliance to policies within HR environmentResponsible to ensure that activities and processes within HR environment are according to Sasol Policies, Conditions of Service and legislation requirements.Supports annual salary increment and STI processConducts auditsAssist with ETK queries and capturing when required
