Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory and Distribution manager to join our team. There will be expected of you to manage all aspects of inventory including, but not restricted to Distribution Planning. Distribution implementation and rebalancing, stock control (including group stock counts) as well as reporting to the Executive team. You must develop and maintain relationships with Product buyers, branch managers as well as group executives (Finance, HR, IT & Operations). Inventory planning will include facilitation of workshops to analyse current distribution strategies as well as analysing inventory based on current strategy and report. Facilitation of workshops on changes to distribution strategy as well measuring impact thereof will be expected. The Distribution Management part, you should be able to Assess current model (frequency/cost), quantifying cost/benefit, assess routes, stock distribution and develop re-distribution programs as well as workshop with product buyers, identifying focus items for action and report on progress.
