Job Purpose Manage day to day operation of the inhouse stores and relevant people to meet the requirements of production within the set cost, quality, and delivery targets Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels An effective supervisor is one who offers leadership and brings the team together. It is someone with good communication skills, neutral, trustworthy, flexible and who knows how to delegate effectively. The leader should also be a learner and should treat their subordinates as partners. Duties & Responsibilities Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure inventory accuracy Supervise and control inbound and outbound logistics Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals including daily cycle checks Introduce and maintain visual management system Identify errors and eliminate root cause using suitable countermeasures Ensure security of stores environment and maintain access control Ensure 5s housekeeping standards are maintained at all times Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the inventory management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy Ensure vehicle/equipment

Minimum 2 years experience in similar role in a manufacturing stores environment.
