Job Purpose



To support the Investment Administration Head of Operations in delivering an accurate and timely fund accounting, compliance reporting and performance reporting service to our clients. Accountable for all aspects of a client’s Investment Administration Services product offering

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities



Ensure completion of month-end process Outputs and measures
Review the results of month end process Collation of reports from asset managers
Conduct investigations & resolution of month end reconciliation issues.
Guides their staff members in terms of work distribution and completion thereof Outputs and measures
Prioritises work for optimal output and assists in overcoming technical/operating problems
Audits work against market and professional business standards
Manages team performance Encourages individual staff responsibility and contribution
Manages the quality and quantity of team outputs
Responsible for managing the client relationship
Attend & meet with Clients
Ability to run with client meetings, requests & enhancements
Drive the resolution of queries
Ability to apply logic & resolve queries
Have a full understanding of Fund Accounting & take initiative in improving processes.
Ensures Adherence to Investment Administration procedures
Staff understand procedures and are monitored against these
Oversees and completes investment administration duties
Complete Trade reporting & daily reconciliations
Conduct monthly client Billing & Revenue / Profitability Reporting
Keeping abreast with Market changes with regards to Pension Fund reporting requirements Outputs and measures Knows, anticipates and understands market fluctuations
Manage client audits as it relates to investment portfolios Outputs and measures Guide the audit process ensuring all documentation and paper-work is readily available. Ensuring a satisfactory audit review in each instance
