Job DescriptionThe purpose of the position to assist the regional Retail Systems Manager with IT operations, ongoing projects and managing escalations. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain close working relationship with Build it retailers. Implement and drive National and Regional IT Projects, such as Spar VPN, Spar Retail Rental, Business Intelligence (Qlikview), etc. Manage escalation processes regarding to supporting the Retail Store networks, equipment and software systems Resolve hardware, software and business processing problemsAssist with queries reported through the Help Desk. Provide Training to Store Owners and Staff members, preparing User Training Manuals where necessary Minimum requirements A Matric Certificate Tertiary Qualification – Information Technology would be advantageous. Knowledge of installation and configuration of Microsoft Office Packages Valid Code 08 driver’s license essential High Energy Level and ability to operate under pressure 2 -3 Years’ experience in similar environment Experience with Retail Software Applications would be advantageous Sound interpersonal skills Good organizational skill Self-Management
