ENVIRONMENT:An innovative FinTech company seeks the expertise of an ambitious IT Ops Manager to help lead a team in performance monitoring, management and maintaining infrastructure. You will also be expected to support projects and operations by providing technical leadership and expertise throughout the project lifecycle ensuring sound technical decisions are made with regards to the reliability, availability, and manageability of new and existing infrastructure services. You will require a relevant IT or Technology field tertiary qualification and/or equivalent blend of education and 10+ years’ relevant experience including ITIL, COBIT, Azure, Office 365, Virtualization, Data & Voice Networking & Security Operations. DUTIES:Take the lead in resolving and instituting measures to proactively reduce the occurrence of service and/or security incidents.Oversee hardware and software lifecycle management.Develop and maintain adequate levels of monitoring and alerting to avoid service and/or security incidents.Lead continual service improvement on all aspects of the technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities + Skills
Strong theoretical and practical background in infrastructure technology including Server and Desktop Virtualisation, Data & Voice Networking, Security Operations, Server Hardware, Authentication, Mobility, and Messaging.
Relevant IT or Technology discipline tertiary qualification and / or equivalent blend of education and 10+ years relevant experience.
