A liaison between Business and IT stakeholders in order to understand the problems; opportunities; needs; structure; policies and operations of the organisation on large; high risk and complex projects. Objectively create and/or maintain and communicate designing of all processes; procedures and standards that enable the specific product and its application within Nedbank. Develop optimal solutions that enables Nedbank Enterprise Payment capabilities and deliver business value. To recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals. To elicit and analyse the actual needs of the stakeholders; facilitate communication between organisational units and play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology and may serve as a translator between these groups
Collaborate with stakeholders by managing conflict, agreeing on task and project requirements, and remaining impartial in requirements discussions. Facilitate requirements workshop, maintain group focus and leads discussion toward stated goals. Define business objectives, processes and requirements. Build, sustain and leverage relationships with persons within and outside area of immediate responsibility when gathering, validating and approving requirements. Manage client and stakeholder expectations.
Ensure own deliverables are accurate; timely; in the correct format and tailored to meet stakeholder requirements. Provide recommendations and monitor implementation and impact on business to achieve business results.
To support the implementation of new processes, policies and systems to add value to Nedbank. Ensure the changes as required for each project are operationalised in a sustainable manner. Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management to improve personal capability and to stay abreast of developments in field of expertise. Ensure all learning activities are completed; experience practiced, and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames to ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities. Share knowledge with team to ensure knowledge management; continuity; team success and that information is provided in the correct way to stakeholders.
Ensure alignment with emerging technologies, and communicate the impact on Nedbank technologies. Participate and influence the technology evolution journey. Present to stakeholders on any impact or change to specific product. Provide stakeholders with business information on product performance. Become a trusted consultant. Expand IP beyond own product speciality. Work collaboratively with stakeholders. Provide support on specific product issues when consulted to provide problem solving. Define and document standards relevant to specific product. Ensure implementation is aligned to compliance and legislation. Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses. Attend product specific industry forums. Attend technology specific industry forums and compile and present technical papers. Ensure alignment to Nedbank environment and legislative requirements. Stay abreast of changes related to the product. Develop the skill (applicable technical product skill) within the organisation and act as skills mentor on specific product.
