Job Description

Job PurposeTo provide learning and organisational development solutions to enable Business Units (BU’s) to meet current, future knowledge and skills capacity for competitive advantage, in line with the business objectives. To build change capabilities and manage the execution of change strategies in partnership with key stakeholders.Job ResponsibilitiesDraw up strategy and plan for execution based on the BU’s skills needs and targets.Provide advice to internal clients on skills gaps based on needs and options available.Liaison with the Cluster’s OET’s team/ Group People Development and Bankseta on the relevant talent requirementsMarketing, maintenance and administration of the PF Academy programmePartner with the BU’s in creating an employer of choice brand through a value proposition build on principles of leadership, talent and cultureDetermine Learning & Development resource (vendors) requirements by establishing and aligning them with available budget.Track actual expenses against projected expenditure to stay within the budget and take corrective action where required.Provide continuous guidance and support to internal clients to achieve their skills development needs.Drive the CIB Leadership Development strategy by incorporating BU’s People Development initiatives.Network with relevant stakeholders by participating in forums and meetings (internal and external) to provide BU’s feedback and recommendations.Research, implement best practices for change management to deliver on business needsInfluence stakeholders to execute on various change strategiesIdentifies, manages and mitigates change management risks and issuesManage end-to-end change management in partnership with key stakeholderManage the coordination and execution of the personal development plans by checking monthly reports.Manage quality of learning interventions as per feedback from delegates, managers and MI reports.Communicate regulatory environment/ Group/Cluster/ people development policies and procedures to internal clients to minimise compliance risks.

Responsibilities + Skills

Qualification as Assessor and/or Moderator and/or Skills Development Facilitator; Relevant post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Learning and Development/Education.Job Related ExperienceConducting root cause analysis


Preferred QualificationDegree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Learning and Development/Education.Preferred Certifications


Analysing situations or data that requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factorsDeveloping ways to minimize risksDrafting reportsManaging conflict situations
