Job Description

The School of Applied Human Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduatecourses in core and specialized areas in general and professional Psychology, SocialWork, Criminology and Media Studies. The School also has a number of specializedresearch projects. The incumbent will be required to teach at undergraduate andpost-graduate levels in Psychology. In addition, the successful candidate will beexpected to be actively engaged in research and supervise student researchprojects at all post-graduate levels. S/he will also be expected to contribute to otherprogrammes and activities offered in the School, including casework supervision.

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

A Masters degree in Psychology (assuming an undergraduate major inPsychology), preferably a PhD in Psychology.

Experience

Proven knowledge of and teaching experience (preferably in the field ofNeuropsychologyTertiary teaching experienceEvidence of a continuing research profile
