Job Description

Secunda Synfuels Operations (SSO) operates the world’s largest coal-to-liquids (CTL) facility and produces synthesis gas (syngas) through coal gasification and natural gas reforming, using Sasol’s unique and proprietary Fischer-Tropsch technology to manufacture synthetic fuel components, pipeline gas and chemical feedstock. This position is based in Secunda, South Africa and relocation to the Secunda area is a requirement.About the job:Purpose of Job /Role Intent:The purpose of the role is to provide a continuous input and support into maintenance, shutdown and project planning activities at various business units and to apply the planning processes at an operational level. To follow the Work Management, work instruction and RAPID.Job Requirements:In addition to a pre-employment medical examination, this position may require a physical fitness assessment as part of the normal selection criteriaMinimum Qualifications and experience required (must)National Senior Certificate with Math’s, Science, English (Elementary NQF4)Relevant National Diploma (S4) - Instruments / Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial / Chemical /Welding / Rigging OR,An occupational Trade Qualification (NQF 4) : trade (artisan) – Instrument / Electrical / Mechanical / Process Artisan / Welding / RiggingA valid Driver’s License
