Transactional Products & Services; This team is constantly working to extend our service capability and product range, consolidating our operations in established markets while expanding and extending in emerging markets. We divide our core capabilities into three product groups – Investor Services, Transactional Banking and International Trade Services.
To proactively manage the impact of market and regulatory changes on Transaction Products & Services (TPS) South Africa (SA) receivables and payments by identifying, analysing, interpreting and communicating regulatory changes to stakeholders to effect changes and make decisions. To present TPS and Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) (SA) view on matters tabled in market and regulatory forums. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends inside & outside SA to meet client requirements.
Responsibilities + Skills
Honours Degree: Information TechnologyOther preferred qualifications, certifications or professional memberships- A post graduate qualification in finance, economics and/or law will be preferred
Post Graduate Degree: Finance and AccountingOther minimum qualifications, certifications or professional memberships- Finance, economics, law
Risk Management: More than 10 years - Strong understanding of financial services risk and regulatory management within a Corporate and Investment Banking environment in Southern Africa. Must have industry expertise and knowledge of the regulations and how the market works.Compliance: 8-10 years- Knowledge and experience of regulatory forums, procedures, and practices within financial services is essential to performing this role. Demonstrated experience working with or for policy makers and regulators, both locally and across Southern African region.
