Job PurposeTo develop, maintain, and advise on policies/frameworks/statements pertaining to ethics and human rights and implement ethics managementJob Responsibilities• Build professional relationships with stakeholders by providing professional knowledge on ethics, corporate accountability and human rights• Develop ethics and human rights related policies/frameworks/statements, and conduct annual reviews of these documents• Create ethics awareness through training and communication initiatives• Operationalising ethics and human rights• Conduct research on local and international recommendations and best practice to inform the institutionalisation of ethics and human rights and ongoing enhancement of an ethical culture• Contribute to Nedbank’s annual United Nations Communication of Progress and contribute to surveys by Environmental Social and Governance rating• Facilitate ethics risk assessments• Influence the improvement or enhancement of ethics risk management processes and methodologies.• Implement good ethics, corporate accountability and human rights practices in accordance with regulatory principles and requirements, overseeing the monitoring of non-adherence and escalating non-adherence• Reviewing and interrogating investigation reports

Responsibilities + Skills


Bachelor of Laws Degree and certificates/accreditations in any of the following areas: Ethics, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or Human Resources


Minimum 10 years post Bachelor of Laws Degree experience in any of the following areas: Ethics, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or Human Resources
