Job PurposeTo consult on and advise the business area regarding relevant domestic and international legislation; compliance and governance to ensure abidance to relevant codes; regulations and rules thereby minimising risk to and protecting the reputation of Nedbank.Job Responsibilities• Work experience in data privacy/ compliance (preferred)• Working knowledge of POPIA and Privacy Policy• Knowledge of data processing operations in the company’s sector is preferable• Provide advice on all aspects of the privacy by conducting an analysis and assessment of personal information risks to guide and direct decisions pertaining to the scope of Nedbank’s privacy governance• Ensure that Privacy risks are managed and mitigated across Nedbank by analysing legislative and stakeholder requirements and providing guidance and expertise accordingly.• Manage compliance to Privacy standards by stakeholders, by assessing and monitoring the adherence to Privacy requirements and practices, and take corrective action where necessary.• Compile reports, for submission to forums and committees, by obtaining input on personal information requests and losses from stakeholders and reporting on the status of the programme as well as recommendations for corrective action to be implemented by stakeholders.• Provide input into the governance framework for Privacy by researching and providing input into industry thought leadership
