Job Details Our international team provides trading, sales, structuring and risk management solutions for our clients across global financial markets. This includes FX, commodities, equity, credit, fixed income and debt instruments. We also offer market insight, trading services, analytics and new financial products across a number of asset classes.Job PurposeThe Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the Global Markets trading systems resulting from the work of the different development teams through the managing of the Product Backlog.Key Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesContribute towards planning for Murex and Alchemy projects and change initiativesDevelop a thorough understanding of the current and targeted GM business operating models and business requirements. Provide technical expertise and assist the line manager in the design and conceptualisation of both the Murex and Alchemy change initiative models. Including, framework, approaches and plans to ensure business requirements are met through best practice, fit for purpose, stable and optimised Murex platform development and functionality.Partner with IT Project Manager during the implementation of Murex and Alchemy change initiatives to ensure all risks are covered and the solution is fit for purposeProject manage the successful implementation of Murex and Alchemy change initiatives. Act as a change champion and help implement, train and develop business stakeholders on system specific initiatives and develop excellent internal understanding and ownership of the platform to realise value to the business.Project manage the Murex and Alchemy backlogs across Global MarketsManage and prioritise the backlogs across all instances of Murex and Alchemy, in collaboration with key stakeholders. Prioritise the backlog based on defined criteria and feed the IT development teams with allocated work. Ensure teams adhere to the backlog management approach, focusing energies on priorities in order to increase overall alignment, efficiencies, system stability and optimised system uptime.

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Collaborate and interact successfully with corporate functions, including Technology, Risk and Operations to understand their specific needs and requests and develop good working relationships with them. Ensure pro-active communication takes place between all stakeholders and enablers of the Alchemy and Murex product configuration.
