The School offers a vibrant educational and research environment in Applied Mathematics,Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics. The School has many well established nationaland international collaborative research linkages.In order to strengthen its teaching and research capabilities, the School wishes to appoint acandidate who will actively contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching,supervision and research in Statistics or Applied Statistics. .The successful applicant will report to the Academic Leader of the Discipline.Minimum Requirements:Professor:• A relevant PhD degree• Experience in teaching at a tertiary institution• Evidence of research scholarship, particularly in Statistics or Applied Statistics research,appropriate for this level as evidenced by publications in ISI/DHET or SAPSE-rated journals
