Job Description

The School of Accounting, Economics and Finance seeks to appoint suitably qualifiedapplicants to the permanent staff who will contribute actively to the training andeducation of undergraduate and postgraduate students in Finance and to build theknowledge base of the discipline through teaching, research, academic leadership andmentoring and community engagement. Administration of certain teaching activitieswithin the discipline is also required.

Responsibilities + Skills

Successful supervision of postgraduate students at Masters and PhD levels;Evidence of attracting external research funds;Evidence of strong academic leadership and mentoring of junior staff.Associate Professor

Education

A relevant doctoral degree;

Experience

Minimum of ten years teaching in the discipline at a higher education institution;Evidence of experience in curriculum development;A current and sustained research publication record in peer-reviewed
