The Discipline of Public Health Medicine (Cancer Research Project) is seeking adynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Project Officer for theMultinational Lung Cancer Control Program in Sub-Saharan Africa (MLCCP) project(KZN-South Africa Site). The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a high level ofinitiative and will have to ensure that the activities implemented at the UKZN project sitesfor the phase II of the Multinational Lung Cancer Control Program (MLCCP) are rolledout as needed. The candidate will primarily be based at the Discipline of Public HealthMedicine, at Howard College Campus.

Responsibilities + Skills

Experience in quality control and quality assurance activities.Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques used in the field of


Masters in Public Health/Medical Sciences/Psychology/Social SciencesTwo years of research experience in Public Health or related fields.
