The University of KwaZulu-Natal Foundation (UKZNF) is the official fundraising entity of the Universityof KwaZulu-Natal. Its primary objective is to establish relationships with the donor community and toraise funds for the institutional advancement of the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The UKZNFoundation has its base of operations on the Howard College Campus in Durban.The Prospect Researcher is responsible for proactively seeking and providing information and leadsto drive philanthropic giving from the national and international donor community. The ProspectResearcher will ideally be an individual who can analyze, and synthesize complex data into a user-friendly and concise format for use by the fundraising team, is someone who can work to tightdeadlines and is able to learn quickly and adapt to an evolving work environment. S/he should haveadvanced skills using MS Office products, especially MS Excel. The successful candidate must beable to communicate and present information using verbal and written skills. Extensive experience asa researcher in the higher education sector, in general and/or the donor market is essential.Experience as a prospect researcher is a distinct advantage.

Experience
