PURPOSE OF THE JOB:As the campus-based head of the Maintenance Unit, to provide leadership to theSection Heads for the Mechanical, Electrical, Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing andDrainage, and Building and Civil Sections of the Maintenance Department per site.The incumbent’s two primary areas of focus would be the implementation ofmaintenance plans which are supported by sound policy and procedures andeffected within strict budgetary limitations, and, secondly, through the soundManagement of energy consumption, and compliance to environmentalregulations.

Degree in Electrical OR Mechanical EngineeringCertificate of Competency


10 years relevant working experience; 5 of which must be at a manageriallevelShort-listed candidates may be required to undertake a skills test.
