Job Details Marketing: defining, marketing and protecting the Standard Bank brand across our business – including specialist advice and activity for specific countries and business units.Job PurposeThe Research Analytics Manager will be responsible for supporting the Group Research and Insights team with timely Data extractions/Reporting/Analytics/Dashboard solutions using PowerPoint/Excel/Word/ QlikView/Power BI, MS Excel, SAS and / or similar Business Intelligence tools.To meet business needs through data management, data runs, analysis and interpretation of market research data from commissioned research and relevant market research databases. This will include the definition of data layouts/ formats for commissioned research and the management, maintenance, storage and recording of data from primary commissioned and syndicated studies for PBB Africa Regions, Wealth, CIB and supporting functions.Constant monitoring and sourcing of secondary data, data from syndicated studies and any other available market data.Understanding the bank’s data reserves, where they are stored and ability to access this data when required to be the data steward for the Group and Research Insights Team and be at the forefront in terms of data trends recommending best practice where necessaryProviding value adding analytics and input derived from conducting and analysing high quality, appropriate and cost efficient marketing research.Where required, conduct end to end project management of data projects with support from the Senior Research Manager.
