Job DescriptionThe SCC Senior Administrator: Systems is responsible to support the supply chain function by providing expert knowledge in system improvement solutions.The predominant focus of the role is operational support and system enablement of the De Beers digitization drive. Thus ensuring that the sourcing and purchasing functions are optimally functioning. The role will provide remote end-user support acting as a single point of contact for all supported applications, infrastructure and related incidents, service requests and changes.Key tasks include:To administer the correct utilisation of the SAP MDM, SAP MM, SAP SD and interface platforms (WebMethods and XI) to achieve the objectives of the business function to safeguard the integrity of information passing between the production and client systems through proactive, preventative and corrective actions as deemed necessary by management and job requirements.Oversees governance (access and authorisations in line with standard business processes, process changes, system enhancements). Contribute by inputting into the development and deployment of standardised business processes and meta-data elements that will foster leading practice and drive compliance.Quality assurance and change control, ensuring good practice system compliance as well as ensuring system governance in place.
Responsibilities + Skills
SAP MM and SD Certification/experience. Understanding of FI integration.Interface tools (Webmethods, XI, etc)
Bachelors degree/Diploma Computer Science/ Technology management, preferably in commerce, business administration or other relevant discipline.
