We also produce electricity and other utilities and provide site support services to enable the manufacturing process on all sites.ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Scope and Safety Practitioner is to be accountable for maintenance work in a particular portfolio that is executed by service providers. The scope of the role is to ensure that scoping is performed per job, an accurate budget/quotation is provided, a plan is done if sufficiently large scope, and to ensure that work is delivered on time/in SLA, correctly to scope and quality, and according to cost estimate.The Scope and Safety Practitioner need to hold the delivery partners accountable.To ensure that operational, technical activities and cost is effectively managed.The Scope and Safety Practitioner is required to apply diverse knowledge and experience to ensure that service responsibilities are managed effectively and efficiently on behalf of Sasol Business units.A key focus is also to ensure that work is executed safely.
Responsibilities + Skills
Gr 12 with Math and Science or a full N3 with Math and Science( Must)Relevant Engineering qualificationDrivers licence is required
Minimum 3 years experience in building maintenanceMinimum 2 years experience in management of electrical installations , management and acceptance of electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC), management of service providers and contracts/SLAsKnowledge of OSH Act, Mine Health and Safety Act
