Job FamilyInformation TechnologyPositionSecurity Administrator ICareer StreamIt RiskLeadership PipelineManage Self: OperationalJob PurposeThis Security Administrator role is responsible for the administration of the organisation’s information and data security policies and practices to ensure authorised users can readily access information and that the information is protected in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for continuous review of the AM service offerings with stakeholders, seeking to improve and increase user satisfaction and deliver an excellent user experience.Operate within the bank’s Information Security policy, guidelines and processes to minimise risk, enforce compliance and adhere to governance.Assist with security breach investigations to help guide the refinement of information security policies and practicesGrant, amend and revoke appropriate user accesses across heterogeneous Operating System (i.e. Mainframe, Microsoft, UNIX, etc.), bank wide applications (i.e. Eclipse, NTE, RACF, etc.) and environments (PROD, DEV, QA, etc.)Attend to routine housekeeping activities per departmental processes, e.g. revoke resigned user accounts to minimise threatsMaintain all troubleshooting and tracking efforts in the ticketing system and provide updates to knowledge articles ensuring timely resolution of incidents. Participate in problem management efforts to proactively identify and provide resolutions.Observe and report security violations, e.g. sharing an account, not using own accountSeek, report and assist in removing operational inefficiencies e.g. workflows, repetitive work, time consuming work, etc.Demonstrate innovative approaches to solving the unique challenges encountered and be able to maintain the security and integrity of the bank’s end-user Computing environment.Educate users in security awareness and procedures. Provide guidance to users e.g. in the construction of a robust account password.
