Job PurposeDelivery management of an Application development and support team.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive the delivery of application developments with quality and by actively managing progress against schedules and budgets and raising any deviations, risks and issuesPeople leadership and development of employees.Drive standards and team compliance, implementing efficiencies through DevOps tooling and processes.Ensure operational cost are within budget by Actively monitor team budgets and operational (telephone, 3G, travel etc) spendContribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals and support business strategies that improve the corporate image by ensuring self, managers and team participation in Nedbank culture building initiatives.Essential QualificationPost-Matric degree in Information Technology or Business ManagementLeadership intervention eg MMP or equivalentMinimum Experience Level10 years plus in an application development of which at least three have been in a delivery management role.Application development experience in a mainframe COBOL environment?Knowledge and experience in rest API’s and DatapowerBehavioural CompetenciesAligning Performance for SuccessEarning Trust
