Job Details Operations: a range of essential and complex services to ensure processes across the bank work as effectively and efficiently as possibleJob PurposeTo effectively collaborate with the operations leadership team and executive business groups, in understanding the market environment, providing strategic guidance in designing, developing and implementing processes to achieve business unit goals.Manages unique challenges in the business, monitoring and improving daily functions, whilst focusing on streamlining complex operations. Responsible for measuring the efficiency of systems and procedures, and subsequently delivering enhanced change initiatives.The function currently supports the Equities business but will expand across Global Markets, ensuring a consistent operating model, improved service delivery levels and strategic direction in coping with change across the front to back value chain.Ultimately, you will ensure that all business functions are in line with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities + Skills
Provide input into the planning of audits and regulatory reviews by providing an overall view of the state of the business areaCoordinate the efforts to collate evidence and responses for auditors as an owner of relevant business area
Own delivery of key strategic change initiatives, aimed at Front to Back business alignmentEnsure operating efficiencies with the successful implementation of business prioritised projects, such as process and system automation and regulatory reform
