Overview Ready for new challenge? We are seeking a strong senior registered nurse with great leadership skills for a Surgical Unit in a private hospital located in the Northern Suburbs.Key Responsibilities:Provides unit management support by maintaining quality management, performance management and people management practices.Delivers comprehensive and quality patient care to meet the health needs of critically ill patients.Adheres to Patients’ Rights at all times.Prevents, reports and manages medico-legal risks.Conducts comprehensive patient care audits.Patient records and registers meet legal requirements.

Responsibilities + Skills

Willingness to work shifts and act as a shift leader in accordance with the requirements of the unit.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Education

Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.Prior experience of a minimum of 3 years in a Surgical Unit will be a requirement.
