Snr Operations Manager:Central Support

Job Description

Job PurposeTo manage the Central Support Services (CSS) function, ensuring the accurate and timeous reconciliation of debtor-related general ledger accounts and the efficient processing of all client related entries. Overall management and enhancement of data quality, data governance, data standards and policies regarding data, ensuring the effective management and safekeeping of documentation.Job ResponsibilitiesData ManagementEffective development, facilitation, implementation and ongoing review of all data management policies and procedures across the business unit in support of the Group Data Policy.Provide the first point of contact for the resolution and/or discussion of operational data governance issues and fulfil the role as the chief data steward within the business unit.Ensure all material risks associated with data governance are identified and reported and remedial actions are taken, and that system and process enhancements are identified and implemented.Identify opportunities for continuous data enhancement and implement practices to ensure world class data standards are maintained within the SAP environment.Client ServicesEnsure the efficient functioning of the Client Service Desk and the effective resolution of SAP problems for the Property Finance and other business units operating on SAP CML.Identify potential problem areas and, where necessary, assist in redefining business processes continuously seeking to enhance business efficiency within the department, and by providing advice to business units and participating in various projects.
