Job Description

As a member of the College Public Relations team, the incumbent will contribute towardsthe brand reputation management and enhancement of the College of Agriculture,Engineering and Science, and UKZN. In particular the incumbent will be responsible forconceptualising, developing and implementing a plan to build strong alumni networkswithin the College’s five Schools; for external stakeholder liaison and networking with aview to enhancing research partnerships and generating third stream income for theCollege; for schools liaison and student recruitment within the greater Pietermaritzburgarea; for School/College PR support, marketing and event management on thePietermaritzburg campus; and for the provision of written communication and publicityservices across the College, including feature articles, press releases, newsletters andspecialist publications.
